I'm a food enthusiast with an appetite for only exceptional fare. As a self-proclaimed dish snob, I have amassed an impressive repertoire of recipes spanning diverse types of ethnic/regional cuisine. My motto, "life is too short for mediocrity", absolutely extends into the culinary realm.
Ponder this: How many times have you asked yourself or significant other:
1. What can I make for dinner tonight?
2. What's an awesome recipe that I haven't made in a while?
3. How can I cook restaurant-quality food with no culinary training?
4. If I choose to "eat out", where's a great place to go?
This blog aims to resolve those questions for you!
I have amassed a 9-page personal menu of exquisite dishes suited for the most discerning food snob. The goal is to keep trying various recipes, optimize each recipe to taste phenomenal, and choose 1 of those exceptional recipes for inclusion into the menu periodically.
I use my menu to plan dinners for the week. This way, I don't have to remember what I like to cook; I simply select the item from my menu to menu plan (just like ordering from a restaurant). An added benefit is to provide the menu to dinner guests a few days before a dinner party. My dinner guests can select an appetizer, main, and dessert to their liking for the upcoming party.
I also try to impart my opinion on Yelp. Here's the link for whenever you have a hankerin' to "eat out". With over 200 reviews, I probably have reviewed or bookmarked a restaurant near you.
